How she gets involved: Through the physician assistant mentoring program, Hope works with a local physician assistant and sees patients every week, getting experience in her field before she earns her degree.
Why CMU: “CMU has pushed me beyond what I thought was possible. It’s helped me grow exponentially as a person. And my professors have done such a good job of making us feel like a family here. Once you’re here, you’re part of this family.”
CMU’s 2006 and 2007 physician assistant class posted the best score in the nation on the first-year standardized Physician Assistant Clinical Knowledge Rating Assessment Tool.
