What you know about him: He set the single-season passing record with 3,031 yards and was named the Motor City Bowl’s MVP after he led CMU to victory last season.
What you may not know: He’s got a 3.68 grade point average.
Why CMU: “Academically, there are a lot of good fields here where you can get great degrees. Socially it gives you that small-town feeling without being all that small. This community makes you feel as if you know everybody, and it’s just a great feeling, like a home feeling.”
CMU student-athletes have won the Mid-American Conference Institutional Academic Achievement Award for the best grades in nine of the last ten years.
